Victoria is more than a just another Personal Trainer Food success story. In her own words: “I gained self confidence, healthy habits, healthy mind, and more happiness than I can even explain.”
Here’s her #PTFstory– you can do it too!*
Hi! I’m Victoria!
I used to eat out a lot. I’d go through a drive through and get the meal with a grilled chicken sandwich, but a large soda almost always accompanied any meal.
I went through phases where I would be really good about not eating out and I’d bring my lunch or meal prep chicken and rice.
But then I’d hit a rut where I just had no energy and that “only one” cheat meal turned into …just one more or …this is the last one.
You know the drill.
And that’s when Personal Trainer Food came along.
I didn’t think I could really be a success story
I was nervous. What if…
…I fail? …it doesn’t work? …my habits are so bad that I’m too far gone to change?
I was skeptical that eating three full meals with the portions I was given would fill me up and actually help me lose weight.
It was just food after all– no shakes or pills. So many weight loss success stories I’ve heard involved much more– like intense workouts, starvation, and strict rules.
Then I started to notice some things
On the left is from 2 years ago, the right is from this past weekend. Over the last 2 1/2 months I have lost 30lbs. Thanks to @personaltrainerfood I feel better, have more energy, have more confidence, and over all just am loving life. I’m not done with my weight loss goals yet, but after staying down this path I can definitely say I’ve made a lifestyle change that I intend to keep and continue to set more goals for myself. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey.
Changes started happening pretty fast– within the first week I noticed I had more energy.
A little while later, I noticed that my leggings didn’t feel as tight. And also– they weren’t leaving those unflattering marks around my waist.
I couldn’t believe it. I actually squealed with excitement and ran out into my living room to show my boyfriend that there was actually give in my leggings!
Other people noticed those things too!
The more time went on, the more people started approaching me telling me how great I looked. They all asked what I was doing.
They didn’t believe me when I said that it was mainly a change of diet. Some would even come up when I was eating to ask what it was I was eating, and how it tasted.
It felt so great to have people coming up to me, ME! They were asking what I was doing to look so good; they wanted to know my success story.
My go-to foods…
I love the meatballs and green beans; I could honestly eat that every day.
The butter sauces that came with my meal plan have been amazing. The variety and flavor they add really help me keep looking forward to my meals. I like to put the bacon cheddar sauce on my green beans.
When I started to crave sweets, I would eat Apple Pie filling my coach recommended and it would totally satisfy my sweet tooth cravings.
I started this weight loss journey April 10th and now have only one month left. Since starting I have lost 37lbs, I have more energy, and just all around feel like a different person. @personaltrainerfood has made this experience incredibly easy and enjoyable. I don’t have to starve myself or eat gross food and no longer see certain foods as “I can’t have that.” Now I realize “I don’t want that” because I want better for my body. I have not reached my goal yet but every day I get one step closer and every day I love my body a little bit more.
Even my selfie game changed
I finally started to gain my confidence back enough take full body photos of myself that didn’t require me twisting my body into a flattering angle.
When I posted the photos that talked about my success story, I got such amazing responses. People would tell me how proud they were of me, and how great I was doing.
Even more were asking what I was doing and how they could do it too.
Lately I’ve taken and posted more selfies and I’ve received some grief for it. What I want to know is why…why does my taking a photo of myself and post it bother people? I spent a lot of my life hating my body and being self conscious about everything. With this new lifestyle not only has my body changed but my mindset has changed. I still have work to do to reach my goals and I’m not the prettiest or fittest girl in the world, but I am the best version of myself and therefore I won’t apologize for being proud of that. I won’t apologize for taking photos when I feel pretty and posting them. If you have an issue with that feel free to stop following me because I neither need nor want that negativity in my life.
Yes, I like working out but…
I really wanted to prove to myself that diet is the main key in weight loss so I didn’t do any strenuous workouts.
In general, I did cardio for about 30-60 minutes a day combined with dancing a couple nights a week.
Oh yeah, once I started losing some weight and got my confidence back I started going out again! Dancing is something I love.
This is what I say to my friends
I have friends who tell me they workout 5 days a week, but haven’t seen any results. My immediate question is “Well, what’s your diet like?”
Their answers usually involves carbs, alcohol, loads of sugar. Thanks to PTF, I now know that all those things hinder weight loss, no matter how much you workout.
I can’t stress enough to you enough that if you want to be your own success story, you’re going to have to make a diet change. It’s not about killing yourself in the gym.
4 months ago today I started down a path that I had no idea would change so much about my life. In the last 4 months my mindset and body have both made drastic changes. I have lost over 40 lbs and feel the best I ever have. It’s not just the weight though that left my life; I no longer feel the negativity that I use to feel every day when I woke up, I don’t hold on to resentment or anger the same way I did before, and I’m no longer comparing myself to anyone but the person I was yesterday. I have seen who really cares about me and who was just around when it was convenient. My mind, body, and heart have all been tested in the last 4 months and have all come out the other side stronger. I’m happy, loved, and excited for what the future will bring me. I owe a big THANK YOU to @personaltrainerfood because without their delicious food and awesome coaching staff I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you to all those that have supported me and to those that were rooting against me thank you to you as well for that motivation!
My Non-Scale Victories: Jeans and a prom dress
It’s great to see the numbers on the scale going down.
Even better was the day that I was able to put on a pair of jeans that I hadn’t been able to wear in 8 years.
18 year old me clearly thought I was cool with the whole brooding look…all that aside, today I fit in to a pair of jeans I hadn’t been able to wear in over 7 years! Each day I wake up I can’t believe this is my life now. I feel better than I ever have, have love in my life, a few good friends, and the two sweetest pups in the world. Life. Is. Good.
After trying on my old jeans, I decided to see how my dress from Junior Prom fit. It was just hanging there, so why not?
It was an incredible feeling to put on that old dress I last wore at 17 and look GREAT in it at age 26.
My advice to you: don’t worry about the number on the scale, the weight loss will come with sticking with the program. Focus on how you feel, and how your clothes feel on you.
(Non-scale victories are way more fun than the scale.)
What am I going to do with this amazing new body?
Now that I’ve lost weight, I’m focusing on toning this new body that I have. I didn’t workout with weights before because I didn’t know where to start.
Today, I feel confident enough to walk into that section of the gym and give it a try.
Two years apart but it might as well be a different person in the photo on the left. I can’t tell you how many photos I took before I decided I looked good enough to save that one. I only added the flannel because I didn’t like the way I looked without it. Now two years later and I let someone else take my photo and only took two photos, no flannel.or cover up, and no crazy angle to make myself feel good. In 16 weeks on @personaltrainerfood I lost 49 lbs which is great, but even better is what I gained. I gained self confidence, healthy habits, healthy mind, and more happiness than I can even explain.
Here’s my advice so you can be a success story too!
I’d have to say the best advice I can give is: don’t give up.
There were days that I felt like I was working hard and not seeing results. Luckily, I had someone there to tell me not to give up and to push me when I needed it most.
I’m so thankful he did because he made sure I focused less on a number on the scale and more on how my clothes were fitting– or not fitting because they were too big.
PTF made my life incredibly easy!
I just pick my meals out in the morning and go to work and then when it’s time to eat I heat them up. No prepping, no clean up, no fuss.
To me, PTF is absolutely worth the investment; without them I wouldn’t be here to tell you my success story.
Even when I was meal prepping I couldn’t have had this kind of variety for the price that PTF is. I was paying pretty much the same thing in a month for just eating chicken and rice with a few veggies– and seeing no results.
I’ve posted a lot of my photos showing side by side comparisons of before and after my weight loss, but this one is about as real as it gets. I had no idea I was that big. I made sure that any photo where I looked even remotely close to that big never saw the light of day. I’m not proud of letting myself get to that point. I was depressed, lazy, and just a very unhappy person and because of all of that I didn’t take care of myself I ate out a lot, I didn’t exercise, and I just kept telling myself “I’ll start tomorrow” but for months and months “tomorrow” never came — Then @personaltrainerfood came in to my life and I decided to challenge myself. I had support from my amazing man, my family, and my friends and with that support I didn’t give up. I didn’t cheat or slip back in to old habits even when it was tempting to have just one bite of something bad. I’m so thankful that I didn’t give up because I feel great now! I can’t say enough how amazing Personal Trainer Food is! The food is delicious and the program works, if you don’t believe it just look at this photo that is the exact same outfit in each photo! I lost 8.5 inches from my waist, 31.5 inches over all, I went from a size 12 to a size 2, and as it says lost 49lbs all of that in just 16 weeks! If I can do it, anyone can! Check them out and if you have any questions or if you need any support I’d love to talk to you because if it wasn’t for the people who supported me I wouldn’t have had such an easy time sticking to the program!
My name is Victoria, and I’m a PTF Success Story!
I owe so much to PTF. The weight loss is only a small part of what PTF has given me. Through this journey, I’ve gotten myself back.
My confidence, my upbeat energy, and my life… it’s back!
Thanks to PTF I have the knowledge that I believe will help me continue to be a success story for years to come. Plus, their food tastes so great why would I not keep ordering it?
Thank you PTF for giving me my life back, and a future that I can look forward to!
