My Routine Before Personal Trainer Food
My diet was pretty clean before I started Personal Trainer Food. I ate all whole foods but I admit: I drank alcohol more regularly.
I was doing some intense lifting and metabolic workouts. Doing that, I was getting good …but slow… results from the lifting. I was losing an average about three to four pounds a month.
But I have to admit that I wasn’t satisfied with my progress. Honestly, losing only three or four pounds a month is discouraging– especially because of all the work I was putting into it.
I Just Couldn’t Keep Up With the Workouts
On top of that, my job is pretty stressful, and I was put on extra weight because of it. Over time, I also lost energy and motivation to work out.
I’d try to start up again, but injuries would throw me out. It was full of ups and downs.
And My Weight Creeped Up
It got to a point that I stopped going to events that where I had to wear a bathing suit or shorts.
My weight also caused a lot of pain in my back and hips, making it difficult to get out of bed some mornings. As if it wasn’t bad enough, some people even tried to use my weight as a way to try to insult me. That is so wrong.
I Realized I Needed to Put Myself First
Then I lost my job and ended things with a long-term partner. I was also facing a very scary medical diagnosis. All that made me realize that if you lose everything, the best thing you can do is take care of your health.
I realized that in the middle of what seemed like a lot of loss, was an opportunity to gain back my health, give back to myself. I decided to put myself first again.
But I Still Had My Doubts
When I first started Personal Trainer Food, I was skeptical. I’ve studied health food for so long, and I know how to eat healthy.
My Weight Loss Coach told me I didn’t have to kill myself at the gym to lose weight. But I was pretty sure that I would never see the dramatic results as they were promising.
I also had a history of health issues that prevent me from losing weight. I have epilepsy, injured knees, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). So I didn’t think I could get “miracle” weight loss results.
But Then I Noticed…
I was surprised just how much I liked the food at my first meal. How good it tasted!
And after just a few weeks, I started to notice that my clothes were fitting looser!
My pants were practically falling off of me, and shirts that I wore often were suddenly baggy!
People at the gym frequently started approaching me asking me what I was doing. They kept saying that I looked amazing.
The best part though was one evening when I was getting ready to go out with my boyfriend. He looked at me, grinned and said “Damn babe… you look SO hot!” That felt so good!
I Was Losing Weight Eating Foods I Enjoy!
My favorite meal uses some of the vegetables and teriyaki chicken to make a stir fry.
You can do it in the microwave, there is just enough sauce from the Teriyaki Chicken to coat the veggies. You can also give it a quick stir fry in a little non-stick fry pan. It tastes amazing.
One of the biggest things that makes Personal Trainer Food work is the convenience. My job is very fast-paced, so to be able to pop something in the microwave at work or at home was phenomenal. It is very relieving to know I can stay on track no matter how my day goes.
I Didn’t Have to Work as Hard at the Gym
During my program, I continued my workouts at the gym. I was actually able to take more days off from working out and I still got amazing results. Sticking to my Personal Trainer Food program escalated my results like crazy.
My muscles actually started showing and my body started leaning out. All the things I was working for suddenly started coming at a much faster rate. It was a wonderful feeling.
Now That I’ve Lost 43 Pounds…
I want to live in a bathing suit, ha ha!
I want to wear all the clothes that I never felt I could.
So here I am, in a pair of shorts that I never would have worn before…
Now I want to take photos with people and I’m not be afraid for them to instantly post them on social media.
Today, I know I can dress in something casual or sexy– and feel completely confident in it.
And I’m More Motivated Than Ever
Today, I feel more energetic and stronger than I did before. I want explore more– go on more hiking trips and have more adventures.
And I’m definitely going to continue to workout and see how much stronger I can get.
