Hello, my name is Hugo. I am 36 years old, and I am from Los Angeles, California.
All throughout my childhood I’ve always been really athletic, and really into sports.
I played volleyball all my life so I was just used to being that guy who was always in shape. I pretty much ate whatever I wanted.
As long as I could work out, I was good.
But then I couldn’t work out like I used to
After college, I hurt my knee and couldn’t play any more so I put everything into music. It all started at church. We made a worship band. I actually joined my friend’s worship band and it just started growing from there.
Next thing you know we were travelling to places like Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, and Canada.
I was living the dream that I had always wanted. The travelling is beautiful, you get to share good times with friends, and you get to try some amazing food.
The bad thing is that I couldn’t find the time to work off all that great food.
So I slowly started to gain weight.
At first it was fine, I would take pictures, or we would do a DVD and I would look ok.
But that started to change… after 20 pounds… after 30 pounds… next thing you know I was 55 pounds heavier.
I started hiding from the camera
By that time, I was using old promotional material– I did not want to take pictures!
I didn’t promote my concerts online. After my concerts, I would go on YouTube and I take out all of my concert footage– even footage other people put up.
I was just so disappointed in myself after being this sports guy all my life. The person in the mirror was unrecognizable.
My weight started to affect everything. I was doing three to five concerts a week and all the comments started getting to me.
From one country to another, people would say things behind my back like “oh my gosh, what happened to this guy?” I would hear it and it started to affect me slowly.
I went from this totally secure person to somebody who had to sing that was trying to hide themselves.
That’s an impossible situation when you do what I do for a living!
Something had to change
So when I tried Personal Trainer Food I was a little skeptical. Why? Because it was just food. I didn’t have to do all the exercise that I thought I needed to do and I didn’t have to take any supplements.

Now I have so much energy; I want to do more than I did before. I want to do social media, I want to do videos, I want to do all these things.
