It turns out, they do eat– wickedly smart diets to get their runway look.
Here are their actual menus along with some strategies you can use to look like an Angel, too!
Alessandra Ambrosio: Lost the Baby Fat
What jumps out from her menu are the high-fat eggs (even eggs benedict!), nuts, and steak. There are still many people who are fearful of eating it because they think it will make them fat.
But Alessandra proved that notion wrong when she lost weight and got back to the catwalk in record time eating this way.
Breakfast: Eggs with bacon, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, or fried eggs
Lunch: Salads with steak or chicken
Snacks: Nuts with a cup of coffee
Dinner: Loves Japanese bar-b-que, a spicy kalbi soup is one of her favorite menu items
The combination of nuts and coffee for a snack is incredibly smart. Both the caffeine and the healthy fats and fiber from the nuts will blunt your appetite until your next meal.
Martha Hunt: Protein Princess
This Angel loves her meat and eggs which makes it easy for her to maintain her physique year-round.
You can also see how simple she keeps her meal plan. Anyone can follow this easy menu and lose weight without thinking.
Breakfast: Eggs, spinach, avocado
Lunches and dinners: Chicken or salmon with a side of vegetables.
Martha’s addition of salmon to her menu is a perfect way to add healthy omega-3 fats that make your hair and skin glow.
Rachel Hilbert: The Power of Avocados
Good news for all you avocado freaks out there– you can have your guac and eat it to. Avocados can help you maintain a lean body.
Check Rachel’s menu out:
Breakfast: 2 eggs over-easy or hard-boiled with 1/2 avocado
Lunch: Chicken and 1/2 avocado over a bed of lettuce
Dinner: Fish and vegetables
Eating half an avocado instead of yogurt is a brilliant breakfast on the go. It’s as easy as popping open a cup of yogurt, but it’s a much healthier option because there are no added sugars.
Do like Rachel does and split one open, remove the seed and just spoon it out.
Adriana Lima: Keeps the Fat Away with Salads
Adriana tapers her intake of heavy foods, so by dinner time she eats a refreshing salad.
This is a surprisingly satisfying way to end your day, and ensures that your body doesn’t store unused calories as fat.
Breakfast: Oatmeal and egg whites
Lunch: Fish, chicken, red meat, grilled or steamed vegetables
Snacks: Raw vegetables
Jasmine Tookes: Fast Metabolism Kid
Jasmine admits that she has a fast metabolism that still lets her eat most anything, including pizza without doing too much damage.
Despite being able to eat what she wants, she wisely fills most of her menu with protein and lots of vegetables anyways.
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs and spinach
Lunch: Grilled chicken with broccoli or zucchini, and rice
Dinner: Grilled chicken with vegetables and mashed potatoes
When leaning out for a show, her go-to meal is grilled chicken and zucchini.
Lily Aldridge: Expensive Vegetarian
This Angel orders her meals from an trendy vegetarian meal delivery service. I love the idea of vegetarian eating as long as it isn’t based on simple carbs (the #1 error people make when they go vegetarian).
…but I’m feeling starved as I read her menu. Earth broth? What do you think?
